Wow talk about work. I've never been so tired on the mission. We have been tracting and tracting some more. Talking to everyone we see and I've never been more excited for the future so much! Elder Pese is the man we have so much fun, he has been showing me a new way to do things and I've been showing him things he never does and we are growing so much, we just laugh all day long, he like a lot of the same thins as i do which helps a lot. I'm so excited for Britt! Tomorrow is the big day for him man am I excited! We pretty much aren't teaching anyone right now, the people we were with weren't progressing so we had to move on. But this transfer has a lot of promise. Also we have a special mission wide meeting on May 1st! Some general authorities will be in town for a leadership training and thought they'd spend a couple hours with us missionaries, rumor has it that it's Ballard but who knows, All i know is that I'm so excited! The weather has been pretty warm so that helps make us more tired but we just keep pushing forward with faith and wait with patience for the blessings. I've been reading the old testament and have been reading about the heroics of people like Samson and David, and how much courage they had and it helps me to be more courageous. It's kind of like that primary song I always sing with the guitar, (the words probably aren't the same, its the j-schally version)
I'm trying to be like Jesus, In all that i do and say
I'm trying to be like Jesus, In every single way
Sometimes I am tempted to make a wrong choice,
But the spirit whispers in a still small voice saying
Love one another as Jesus loves you,
Try to show kindness in all that you do,
be gentle and loving in deed and in thought
For these are the things Jesus taught!
or i guess for me its more like
I'm trying to be like Jesus, by being a missionary
I'm trying to be like Jesus, even though sometimes its scary
Sometimes I am tempted to just throw it in,
But then I receive comfort from my father in heaven saying
Love one another as I have loved you
Try to show kindness in all that you do!
Be gentle and loving in deed and in thought!
Cause that's what my son always taught!
Jesus Christ was the best missionary ever he was the prince of peace and because of his suffering in the garden of Gethsemane and on the cross we can return to our Heavenly Father, that's the message we as missionaries share everyday, I know that I am out here for a reason and Have gained so much experience through trials and through the joys that this message brings. I love ya'll and am grateful for the support i get!
