Well 7 months to the day

THis week was a patience builder for sure. Lots of trials have been coming our way. I dont know if i mentioned this last week but one of the girls in the ward painted me the most legit painting of myself, i think she said she out it on facebook and so you can go check it out. I love it, it looks exactly like me even though it doesn't have a face haha its cool, we had a week full of cancelled apointments, excuses, and no one being home. But I havelearned a lot. We did some service for Tony who was a very successful business guy he started a lot of big companies and while we were clearing up brush for him he was giving us lessons on how to be better business men and gave me some great advice. I always knew that my mission would be the time I would figure out things but Tony opened a lot of doors fo rme that I didn't realize were there so that was good to be able to get taught while we were doing service for him. We had exchanges this week and I was on exchanges With Elder Spjut from Morgan, UT. We had a good day and it was a lot of fun. (Hey Trav at your wedding you met an elder that was coming out to the same mission and told him to keep an eye out for me, he found me his second day and thats who i was on exchanges with haha small world) But i was in their area in Rubidoux, I think thats how you spell it and I was able to recruit two girls to sing at Alberts Baptism the nest day it was sweet. But the highlight was Alberts Baptism, it just went so smoothly and President Reeves was able to come. THe baptism was good and the special musical number by the turner sisters was amazing. They have some pipes! And then sunday was really good it was of course fast and testimony meeting and it was extremely spiritual, ALbert bore his testimony and he was so nervous! He said he thought his heart was going to pop out of his chest haha sorry i dont have any pictures right before the baptism our car broke down and so i wasn't able to have my camera with me. O yeah and Eldber Babcock cant ride a bike so we have been walking everywhere! BUt that didnt stop us from getting things done. Well I love you all and I am changing and progressing to be more charitable and a better person. I am greatly indepted to our father in heaven for this opportunity he has given me to be out on a mission at this time. It sounds like Britt is sure excited as he should be he going to tear it up according to Bro BRealt and I agree haha well keep the faith remeber who you are. Love you all

Hey Hey

Hey thanks for all of the support and for all of the birthday wishes. My week was good. First off i got a new companion poor elder Browning and i got to be together for one transfer and a couple days but now Im with Elder Babcock for Wasilla or Wusilla or something like that Alaska. He has been out a year and we're tearing it up. THis week has been a lot of fun we had a ton of stuff to do. The rain was miserable I guess you could say it was a soaker. So that was a little bit of a hinderance. Albert is getting baptised on the sixth of February I dont think ive talked about hm much but hes my age and hes going to college here in Riverside so thats awesome we are great friends and he is just so cool. Such a good example to me of overcoming where your from and the crcumstances you come from and succeeding. Hes such a stud. But yeah the other night someone just dropped of a pile of snow in front of our house. It made us a little trunky being from alaska and montana but we had a snow fight with us two and the two people we live with mamma P and Bud Putman. It seems as though my emails have been lacking lately. But since we switched over it to the google account things i had to switch all my stuff to the new account and didnt have time to email much. But my thoughts have been focused primarily on the charity and the pure love of christ. As Ive been studying the scriptures Ive found that there is some serious things that I can work on. It talks about how if you've done unto the least of men you've done it unto me and really i feel like i was lacking when it came to helping those in need. I mean there is so many times in the scriptures where it talks about how if we dont help the poor and the needy we wont make it to live in the kingdom with our father so this week look for times to help those in need. Or look for opportunities to build relationships with our families and friends. I know I have been and I kow now that im about to be 20 I guess I have to grow up haha im trying to become more of a man everyday and become closer to our savior. The man who was a perfect example for all of us. I know that through him we can return to live with our father and that through him we can overcome ourselves and be more charitable to others.
